What kind of knives do you make?
I make fixed blades (Boardwalk) and framelocks (Pyrenees V3) at this time.
How are your knives made?
All of my knives are made in my shop in Canada using materials sourced from both the USA and Canada. They are made using a combination of CNC and manual processes.
Do you outsource?
Certain processes are outsourced to Canadian and U.S. businesses (e.g., water jet cutting, laser cutting, double disk grinding, phenolic machining, surface grinding). Critical machining and heat treating operations are performed in house. Any vendor used is thoroughly vetted and held to strict quality standards. I make a point of supporting only quality businesses that I believe in.
How do I purchase?
Moving forward knives can be purchased on my webstore. Some knives are password protected. These knives can only be purchased by entering the appropriate signup. The sign up form will have all the pertinent information, it will be located on the corresponding product page while it is active.
What is the cost?
At this time Framelocks (Pyrenees V3) start at $600.00 USD and fixed blades (Boardwalk) start at $200 USD plus applicable taxes and shipping.
What currencies do you accept?
I accept both USD and CAD. There is a dropdown on the home page where you can select your preference. USD is paid via credit card and CAD is paid via E-transfer (Canada Only).
Are you a full-time maker?
No, I am not. I work a full-time job as an electrical engineering technologist. I dedicate as much time as possible to making knives, usually evenings and weekends.
I still have more questions!
Please submit additional questions to email@example.com and I will add them to the list.
