How are your knives made?

All of our knives are made in our shop using materials sourced from both the USA and Canada. They are made using a combination of CNC and manual processes.

Do you outsource?

Certain processes are outsourced to Canadian and U.S. businesses (e.g., water jet cutting, laser cutting, double disk grinding, phenolic machining, surface grinding).

How do I purchase a knife?

All sales are conducted on this website.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept both USD and CAD. USD is paid via credit card and CAD is paid via E-transfer (Canada Only).

I still have more questions!

Our knives are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the knife. Abuse is not covered. If a knife is damaged due to abuse, we can repair it for a fee. This warranty is attached to the knife not the original owner. Cosmetic wear is not covered under the warranty. Currently no “spa” service is offered.

If you are not happy with your knife for any reason, just send it back in new condition and I will refund your money less the shipping cost. A refund will be issued once we receive the knife, and it is confirmed to be in new condition. You must contact us via email (Derek@StangBladeworks.com) within 5 business days of receiving the knife. If a knife is returned in used or damaged condition the cost of repair will be deducted from the refund.

Shipping is done via Canada Post. Whenever possible, products will be shipped to a post office and held for pickup. Once a package is marked as delivered the order will be considered complete.
